We don't build file pickers for features that can't actually run. Here's the current status and what it would take to ship it.
| Current status | Not available (in preparation) |
|---|---|
| Technology required | Font embedding correction, colour profile insertion, and a conformance checker such as veraPDF |
| Difficulty | High |
| Estimated server cost | Roughly $25–40/month once font and profile assets are included |
| External API needed | Not required |
What you can do today
Save from the original program
Word and similar editors often have a “PDF/A compliant” option in their PDF export dialog.
It's only meaningful if it also provides a step that verifies compliance with the spec, so we're preparing conversion and verification as a single package.
